Privacy Notice
Last updated: 11 June 2026
Donation360 ("we", "us", "our") operates an online fundraising platform that lets creators launch causes and lets supporters donate to them. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to creators, donors and visitors to our platform.
1. Who we are
Donation360 is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. If you have any questions, you can reach us through our support centre.
2. Information we collect
- Account data — name and email address when you register as a creator.
- Fundraiser data — titles, descriptions, images, goals and the organisation or beneficiary you provide when creating a cause.
- Donation data — donation amounts, optional donor name, optional email for receipts, optional messages, and whether a donation is anonymous or recurring.
- Support data — the details and any attachments you send to our support centre.
- Technical data — limited device and usage information together with cookies (see our Cookie policy).
3. How we use your information
- To create and operate fundraising campaigns.
- To record and display donations and, where you choose, recurring donation schedules.
- To provide donation receipts and respond to support requests.
- To process withdrawal requests made by creators ending or drawing down a cause.
- To keep the platform secure and to prevent fraud and abuse.
4. What other people can see
Public fundraiser pages show the cause details, the amount raised (if enabled) and a donor list (if enabled). We never publicly display donor email addresses, and the name of a donor who chooses to give anonymously is always hidden. Full donation records, including email addresses, are visible only to the creator of the relevant campaign.
5. Lawful bases
We process personal data to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in running a safe and effective platform. Optional cookies are used only with your consent.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the service, to meet legal and accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes. When data is no longer required we delete or anonymise it.
7. Your rights
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Ask us to delete data where there is no overriding reason to keep it.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent for optional cookies.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the support centre.
8. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above.
